Montpelier Arts Center serves as an incubating center for talented artists. The center is a venue for many performances, and they also host classes and seminars on regular basis.
Formerly known as the 'Old Brick Church', the Christ Church Guilford is a Georgian style structure. The simple bell tower on the top in between the two doors looks beautiful. The walls on the outside are made up of handmade brick. The structure also consisted of two old chimneys which are no longer a part of the structure. The simple architecture of this small rectangular structure is stunning.
Also known as Trinity on the Pike Church, the Trinity Episcopal Church dates back to 1857. Over the period of time, additions and repairs were made to this 1857 structure. However, in 2001, the church building was hit by a massive earthquake; owing to the efforts of the church and its community this splendid structure was restored. Added to the National Register of Historic Places, this church goes beyond religious preaching and helps the community in every possible way. The on-site thrift shop is one such endeavour, people donate and buy used clothes and other items from this shop. Working closely with the Ghanaian Mother's Hope, it regularly donates clothes to Ghana. This historic chapel along with its Parish Hall can also be rented for weddings and receptions. The Andover Baptist Church owes its humble beginnings to the small group of people who split from the First Baptist Church of Brooklyn in 1948 to form a separate congregation. Today, home to an active congregation, the church continues to guide its members on their spiritual journey. Through worship, prayer and careful study of the Scriptures, the church hopes to inspire its members to lead life in accordance with God's word and become closer to Christ. Sunday service is offered at 10:45a, and Bible study meetings are held on Sunday at 5p and Wednesday at 7p. Morning services are centered around a selected passage from the Scripture and begin with a few moments of silence for private reflection. The Ritchie Coliseum is a fantastic coliseum, located within the University of Maryland in College Park. With 11,000 square feet on space, there are volleyball and basketball courts inside the arena. Frequented by locals during college games, this place can accommodate up to 1900 people. The atmosphere during games is quite noisy and enthusiastic and definitely a great place to watch a good game of ball. In addition to sports, The Ritchie Coliseum also has health fitness facilities such as weights, cardiovascular equipment and a room for martial arts training.
