Tour the Hills and Dales Estate, and grab a great experience of a historic home. With an estate that spreads over 35 acres of land, one can take a walk through the beautifully architectured home, historical gardens, and experience serenity and tranquility. Holiday tours are organised too, the house is at it's best at Christmas when it is well ornated and various events relating the same are conducted.
Located in the former circa 1892 Troup County Jail, this vibrant arts museum displays contemporary paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts in its many galleries plus features an arts library and art classrooms.
The museum tells the story of the area's history and growth through exhibits of more than 3,000 artifacts. Special areas of interest are the doll collection, history of industrial technology, WWI and WWII, Civil War, pioneer household goods, and musical instruments.
This 1845 Trade Center stucco and plaster building houses vintage clothing, quilts, old toys, and furniture. There is a furnished log cabin, blacksmith shop, Indian teepee, and farm tool display.
Documenting all of the intercollegiate sports played by Auburn men and women down through the years, the museum shows people how athletic programs have contributed to Auburn's historical traditions. Recognizes some of America's most well known athletes with high-tech interactive exhibits, life-size talking dioramas and traditional displays.
