DJ Illy initially emerged out of Durham, North Carolina in the late 1990s with a distinctive dirty Southern style. After a ten-year hiatus, he reentered the scene in 2010, this time in New York City where he focuses his energy on creating a bass-heavy mixtures of dubstep, electro house and drum and bass.

*NEW* InternsPIT When: Thursday, March 5, 2015 / 5 9pm Job Fair & Social w/ food: 5 6pm Competition: 6 8:30pm After Social: 8:30-9pm Where: The Laurel Packinghouse InternsPIT combines a traditional networking social with an innovative Dragons Den-like recruitment competition. Students compete against each other via professional presentations for the chance to win an interview with a local employer. Employers participating in the competition are responsible for providing the student job opportunity; reviewing and selecting student applications (3 per position); ranking the presentations; and offering the winning student(s) an interview, with the possibility of the student(s) earning a position. Students selected to pitch will be provided a complimentary ticket. Non-pitching students are encouraged to cheer on their peers, network and socialize. Participating Employers are not required to hire a student, but simply offer the winning student(s) a professional interview. InternsPIT is an excellent opportunity for students and employers. Rah Rah is a Canadian indie rock band that formed in 2005. This seven-member group released its debut album, Going Steady, in 2007. Rah Rah's songs are comprised and male and female harmonies and a diverse collection of instruments, including the violin, accordion and ukulele. The troupe tours extensively throughout Canada and abroad.

In Flames is a metal band from Sweden that has constantly reinvented its sound throughout a decades long career. The band emerged out of Gothenburg, Sweden in 1990 playing melodic death metal and quickly collected a fan base of metal purists. Since the release of its debut album Lunar Strain, in 1994, the band's straightforward sound of screaming vocals and layered guitar melodies took on alternative metal elements as In Flames evolved to fit the times. Using sung vocals, prominent rhythm guitar sections, and synthesizers the band slowly split its fans yet simultaneously collected a broadened its audience. By the time its the band released its tenth album, Sounds of a Playground Fading in 2011, its sound held obvious American metal influences that make its music more accessible to western audiences.

Burton Cummings is a Canadian singer/songwriter best known as the lead singer and keyboardist of the popular 1960s/1970s classic rock band, The Guess Who. He was raised in Winnipeg, where he performed in local bands until an opportunity to replace the keyboard player for The Guess Who arose. With the group, Cummings sang and helped pen a number of hit singles, including "American Woman," "These Eyes" and "No Time." In 1975, he left the band to pursue a solo career that included writing songs for film and television. The Guess Who briefly reunited in 2000, playing a handful of shows scattered over the following few years. Since then, Cummings continue to tour and release solo material, and has even written a book of poetry.

North Dakota-born guitar prodigy and virtuoso singer/songwriter Jonny Lang has accomplished quite a bit since his first album, produced at the age of 14. In a short amount of time, Lang went from prodigal musician to a vindicated, Grammy award-winning artist. Lang now tours the globe with his husky, inimitable voice and blues rock ballads, playing to thousands of head-over-heels fans every night.

Celtic Thunder is a vocal group from Ireland made up of six male singers who came together in 2007. Although all six members have successful solo careers, the group showcases its individual talent by performing some of Ireland's most recognizable songs in perfect, tight harmony. Since their debut, Celtic Thunder has gone on to become a renowned world music act by performing at major events throughout the world, including a New Years Day performance at the White House for President Obama in 2009.
