    Guests and gamers at Harrah's North Kansas City Casino & Hotel have many dining options before them, one of which is Mike & Charlie's Italian Restaurant. Needless to say, this eatery serves Italian fare; what does deserve a mention, however, is the quality of the food, which is delicious. On the menu, traditional Italian favorites like chicken parmigiano and veal marsala appear side-by-side with some tasty sandwiches, pizzas, pastas and seafood. Specialty entrées like eggplant Napoleon must be tried.

    Established in 1954 by the Cascone family, who still own and operate what are now three locations, this restaurant offers a full dinner menu and a cocktail lounge. Etched glass windows at this location create a cozy atmosphere and give diners privacy. The service is excellent. The restaurant offers a full array of appetizing pasta dishes. Although a popular place for intimate gatherings and business luncheons, it is also a place where families feel at home.

    If you are in the north side of town, consider stopping by for some deep (really deep) fried, Mexican cooking. If it cannot be dipped into a vat of hot grease, you probably will not find it on the menu. The grease gives the grub a wealth of flavor, and adds a new spin to the standard Mexican fodder. This is the place to go for cheap, crispy tacos and the famous Pocket Burger, a mix of ground beef and spices on a hamburger bun.

    Named after the popular shopping destination in which it is located, The Cafe at Briarcliff Village may be known for its breakfast menu, but has other offerings too. Apart from delicious Belgian waffles and buttermilk pancakes with which to start your day, this cafe has great lunch and dinner delicacies crafted from local produce. Starting with jumbo lump crab cakes and corn nuggets, you can eat your way through a meal comprising house specialties like gluten-free grilled lemon pepper salmon, chicken Oscar and NY strip steaks. Burgers, pastas, sandwiches and wraps are also available. Happy Hour is from 3p to 8p on Monday and from 3p to 6p between Tuesday and Friday.

Opened in the year 2002, the restaurant quickly caught up on the nightlife in Kansas City, with the ever active dance floor which hosts hip hop, jazz, reggae.
