In 1925 this beautiful cathedral was built to serve the Sacred Heart parish of Kamloops. Designed by W.H. Macaulay, Sacred Heart Cathedral is a red brick structure, featuring Romanesque architecture. Carrara marble, imported from Italy, was used to make the original altar, which is still in use today.
