2710 W. Alabama
Houston, TX 77098
This world-premiere play by John Jensen offers an explanation as to the origins of some of your all-time favorite Christmas songs. It's framed around the story of a talented young boy and his struggling, but strong-hearted Mom. Their paths happen to cross with a harmonica-playing stranger, who's carrying some yuletide secrets along with his few belongings. So if you'd like to see something besides Scrooge this season, you and your family may enjoy this new take on holiday entertainment from Houston's own faith-based A.D. Players.

The 1975
Bayou Music CenterNovember 26, 2014 8:00 PM

Houston, TX 77002
The 1975 is a four piece indie rock group from Manchester, England that released its debut EP, Facedown, in 2012. Creating earnest song with heart-on-sleeve lyrics, the group has managed to catch the attention of listeners who're fans of theatrical music with emo-inspired sentimentality. The 1975 veiled itself in a cloud of secrecy during its formative years, which provoked eager listeners and interested music journalists to find out as much about the band as possible, to little or none success.

Get Scared is a rock band that emerged out of Layton, UT in 2008 with an alternative, post hardcore sound. After self-releasing its debut EP Cheap Tricks and Theatrics in 2009 and building a solid internet presence, the band began to collect a close-knit fan base and eventually caught the attention of Universal Motown Records. The major label released Get Scared's first studio album Best Kind of Mess, in 2011.
