Joe Nichols is a country music singer/songwriter and guitarist who uses both traditional and modern country elements to craft his music. His accessible style of songwriting earned him the attention of Interscope Records, who signed Nichols and released his eponymous debut album in 1996. Though the album flopped and he was dropped from the independent label, he eventually settled with Universal South Records for the release of his sophomore effort, Man with a Memory, in 2002. »Kevin Fowler

    October 04, 2014 7:00 PM

Kevin Fowler is a country singer/songwriter from Amarillo, Texas whose lucrative career in the music industry has seen the generation of multiple hit singles landing on the Billboard Hot Country music charts since breaking out onto the scene in the year 2000. Preferring to produce music that resonates with his target audience, Fowler's hit songs range from topics on self-improvement ("Ain't Drinking Anymore"), to the contradictory ("The Lord Loves a Drinking Man"), and blue-collar leisure ("Beer, Bait & Ammo"). Indeed, Kevin Fowler strives to fit the mold of a commercially-successful country music artist and succeeds by all accounts, with his most recent 2011 single "Girl in a Truck" reaching #1 on the Texas Music Chart almost as quickly as it was released.

    October 04, 2014 7:00 PM

With a well noted sound that's well rooted in 1970s rock, soul and funk, The Doobie Brothers have managed to be remembered as one of the premier acts of its generation. Active from 1970 to 1982 before reuniting in 1987, the band released its self-titled debut album in 1971 and has since released over a dozen studio albums. Though The Doobie Brothers has experienced a number of line-up changes over the years, the group still tours and has maintained a reputation for putting on an impressive live show despite the departure of vocalist Michael McDonald.
