    »Old Nassau County Courthouse

    Designed by well known architect William Tubby, the Old Nassau County Courthouse sports a Classical Revival style of architecture. Located on the Franklin Avenue of Garden City, its cornerstone had been laid by Theodore Roosevelt in 1900. In the 1930s a new county courthouse was commissioned in Mineola and the old one was added to the National Register of Historical Places in 1978.
