A stunning example of carpenter Gothic architecture, the Bardsdale Methodist Episcopal Church was built in the late 18th Century. Featuring a 60-foot (18-meter) bell tower and high-peaked arches, the church has been the center of community life in Bardsdale since its existence. Keeping up with tradition, the Bardsdale Chancel Choir performs a free holiday vesper program during Christmas season. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
