»Zion Reformed Church

Zion Reformed Church was established by German immigrants in Chambersburg. Though the congregation was founded in 1778, and the church was constructed over three decades later in 1813. The church building is a beautiful representation of Gregorian architecture. A notable feature of the church are its two chandeliers that are as old as the church itself. Zion Reformed Church is known as the 'rose rent church', one of the three churches in Chambersburg that annually pays a rose as rent fee to founder Colonel Benjamin Chambers's descendants.
