This "Quilt Museum" features five different exhibits a year that demonstrate the diversity of textile arts. A variety of classes are available including weaving, spinning, quilting, cross stitching, and basketry. A gift shop, library, and bookstore are also on site.
Established in 1935, this museum is located in Tillamook's second courthouse that was built in 1905 and features over 35,000 artifacts and exhibits relating to the history of this grand city.
This town, located minutes from the Pacific shore, is a little slice of Wisconsin right here in Oregon. Made famous by its cheese and ice cream, the town is a dairy delight. Tour the cheese factory or visit the Tillamook Dairy Farm. The town offers quaint accommodations and other things to see besides cows and cheese, including a naval and pioneer museum as well as the Latimer Quilt and Textile Center. The town also has a number of dining opportunities from fast food to fine cuisine.
You'll find over 25 of the finest vintage flying aircraft in the nation at this museum that is located in a World War II blimp hangar, the largest wooden structure in the world. Planes on display include a FM-2 Wildcat, a P-38 Lightning, and a TBM Avenger.
A variety of permanent exhibits are provided by this historical society that preserves and exhibits historical artifacts of Cannon Beach.
