The Church of Saint Gabriel is a beautiful steel frame building established in 1925. Built in the French Gothic Revival style of architecture, it makes use of Indiana limestone and granite ashlar. The congregation is an active one, with regular services and ceremonies being held. It was put up in the National Register of Historic Places in 2002 because of its beautiful architecture and rich history.
Locally known as Bloom, the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is a reputed university. Founded in 1839, it offers excellent training and education across diverse fields, however, it is known for its Instructional Technology and Audiology & Speech Pathology programs. Bloom also offers opportunities for the students to dabble in various extra-curricular activities; it has talented athletic teams for different sports. The likes of Chuck Daly, Jahri Evans, Gerry P.
