Not since the ill-fated Chameleon Club has Chattanooga enjoyed such an eclectic mix of people in one club. This newly opened (and, one hopes, long standing) club features a large dance floor, loud music, rude servers and the occasional live band. In other words, it is a perfect nightclub. College students are the primary patrons here, but it is not unusual to find the "older crowd" in attendance. In fact, there is nothing deemed unusual here. As the nights turn to morning you will find yourself dancing with an interesting cross section of society. $3 cover charge at the door.
The décor is multi-colored furniture, surrealistic murals, mosaic floor, and bookshelves with numerous tomes. Performance artists and musicians make this an interactive coffeehouse. Start the morning with a bagel and some cream cheese ($2). Lunch offers wraps, soups, and fresh sandwiches, including Java chicken sandwich (half sandwich $2.50, whole sandwich $4) with white chicken and a pineapple and curry seasoning. Freshly brewed coffee complement the delicious desserts, providing the perfect ending to a delightful dining experience.
Voted Chattanooga's best nightclub, Raw is the perfect destination for a night out on the town. Whether it be the hottest DJs or most talented musical acts, there's always something playing and something to groove to at Raw. The two stories assures that there is plenty of room for dancing and socializing, and the full bar assures that nobody goes thirsty.
Alan Gold's is well known in Chattanooga for good times and strong drinks. The club hosts many different events, including plenty of highly entertaining drag shows. Whether you're just relaxing with a drink in the chillout lounge or dancing the night away, Alan Gold's is great for a night out on the town. With a fun atmosphere and even more fun staff and clientele, you're sure to have a great time at Alan Gold's.
