High Bridge Aqueduct and Water Tower

Amsterdam Avenue
New York, NY 10033
With the Harlem River flowing below, the High Bridge is a steel arch bridge that is also known as the Aqueduct Bridge. with a height of about 140 feet, the bridge is said to be the oldest surviving bridges in the New York city. Currently the bridge is inaccessible to the traffic but however is said to be re opened in the year 2014. On the other hand, the High Bridge Water Tower is an excellent example of the city that has served to be the most reliable and having plaentiful water supply system. The view of this bridge from the top watching the spiral staircase is beautiful and is a must visit place whenever here.
