This museum is dedicated to the display of Civil War Artifacts and deals in artifacts and memorabilia relating to the period from 1850-1880. A reference library dealing with this time period is available for public use, and museum employees will help with visitors' family genealogies. There is a wide range of items in the museum gift shop. The museum is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays only.
A small yet interesting museum that is located in a beautiful 1939 Art Deco building and displays a wide variety of artwork including Western, Asian, Chinese, African, Greek, Roman, and American works, as well as a collection of Southwestern American Indian pottery.
Located in a historic 1930 post office that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this history museum features a permanent collection of Native American artifacts, as well as agricultural implements and silver made in Hartsville. The museum also hosts traveling exhibits and features a lovely gift shop.
