The small, residential community of Fallbrook is an ideal place for golfers to practice their swing in a peaceful environment. The par 72 course is 18 holes and over 6000 yards. Everyone who visits this place enjoys the rolling fairways and wonderful mountain view. As you approach the 11th hole, you will be treated to a 360-degree view of the beautiful surrounding area. This is a par-72 course, and it is 6,502 yards long. There are many tall trees on and around the course with leaves that change to a delightful array of colors during the fall months.
While many golfers appreciate the challenge of a demanding course, be aware that this one includes numerous water hazards, tight fairways, deep bunkers and many large trees. The ocean breeze is outstanding, though it can make the game more difficult at times. This par-72 course is 6,750 yards long. The signature hole is the 15th; it is both long and narrow. One particular oddity; there is an actual caboose on the course with a resort sign hanging from it.
This unusual western themed camp offers special programs for children throughout the year. Participants can sleep in covered wagons, explore nature, tend farm animals, ride horses and learn old-time crafts during seven-day or weekend camp outs. Children from ages seven through 16 can participate. Midweek and weekend overnight events run September through June, week-long camp outs are offered June, July and August, and during winter and spring school breaks.
With a location such as the charming Oceanside countryside, the Arrowood Golf Course has some excellent views. The 18-holes extend across 6,721 yards of challenging landscape designed by Ted Robinson Jr. This course is different from others because of the topography and the extent of the natural areas adjacent to the holes. This regional Park, once part of Mission San Luis Rey, covers 579 acres, including a 25-acre lake. The lake does not have a launch ramp, but is ideal for children to attempt their first shore fishing endeavor. In addition to the lake, this park also features a large children's play area as well as various hiking trails. Early morning runners, who jog through the trails accompanied by pets, frequent the park. It's the perfect place for a family day outing. Best of all, the park (including lake use) is free of charge.

Threshing Bees and Antique Engine Shows are held on the third and fourth weekends of June and October.
