Round Midnight is one of the most popular nightclubs in Boulder and the Pearl Street mall district. Located in a basement area that stretches beneath multiple buildings on Pearl Street, Round Midnight plays music of all kinds, serves wine, mixers, and lots of different beers (including local micro-brews). As you can imagine, students and locals in the area love this spot. There aren't any particular theme nights, but the cover charge is minimal, and the occasional live music acts are a real treat. Best of all, Round Midnight's dance floor is huge and open and always filled. This downtown club features the 'green fairy' and DJs that spin electronic music throughout the week. Every night it is a different electronic sound, on Thursday's it's DJ Petey, Friday is EDM night and Saturdays are for Warehouse Parties. Tuesday is probably the best time to come however, they have top-shelf drinks 2-for-1 all night and the happy hours are always convivial and live. The New Foundry Bar and Club, commonly known as The Foundry, is one of Pearl Street's biggest and most popular clubs. Its location in an old movie theater, complete with the marquee on the outside, is quite unique. The pool tables are nice, and the Foundry's attempt at replicating a European absinthe club is intriguing, which creates an interesting atmosphere inside. Located within the premises of the University of Colorado, Club 156 is a vibrant nightclub that exudes an air of enthusiasm. This upscale music venue plays host to a plethora of events organized by the student community.
