Fall River Pump House and Catchment Basin
Old Fall River Road
Estes Park, CO 80517
The Fall River Pump House and Catchment Basin was constructed in 1938 and are mainly located in the Rocky Mountain National Park. The unique design exemplifies the features of the Rustic style that has paved for its inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. The design was the brainchild and the result of the efforts of landscape architects W. G. Hill and L. Fletcher of the National Park Service. A significant historic site, the Pump House and Basin primarily took care of water treatment for the Alpine Visitor Center and the Fall River Pass Museum.
