This beauty that spreads over 2000 acres (810 ha) of land, is a district that features forty six archaeological sites. The Shawnee Lookout Archaeological District is said to be one of the most beautiful parks. The amalgamation of the rivers and wooden hillsides, with a pre historic touch to it that features artifacts and long records of the residencies of over ten thousand years is an adventure to watch. The artifacts include cultures of the Hopewell tradition and also biological remains like birds and fish bones, turtle shells, etc.
