The Landing is an upscale restaurant with a beautiful view of Chestermere Lake. Decorated in light woods and whites, the ambiance is one of understated elegance and dignity; the food is sumptuous and exotic. The menu features culinary delights such as lobster bisque with saffron cream, prime rib, pastas and seafood. Entrees include spaghetti with crab meat, lemon pepper linguine and a delicious prime rib dinner. Their wine menu is extensive and they offer an array of cheesecakes as well as a dessert fruit plate.

So popular are cupcakes, cakes and cookies, that Buttercream Bakeshoppe opened a shop right along the new Fashion Neighborhood of Cross Iron Mills, Alberta's largest enclosed shopping destination. The Buttercream Bakeshoppe is a Calgary-based bakeshop that specializes in handmade, moist, creamy-to-the-last cupcakes, cookies, and cakes. Their cupcakes are so popular that people don't mind lining up even for just a single cupcake to go. They offer 56 different cupcakes with names such as Canadian maple, Watermelon and Kiwi, even a Moccacino cupcake. Buttercream Bakeshoppe's cakes are also works of art.
John Henry's Grill and Bar is a fun little pub where you can enjoy excellent food as well as happy hour prices. Located right in the heart of downtown Calgary, the menu is extensive and eclectic: you can enjoy stuffed jalapeno peppers, peel 'n eat shrimp, chicken wings and chicken quesadillas.
