The World's Largest Dinosaur is situated in central Drumheller, which has given the city its tag line "Dinosaur Capital of the World". This attraction is a replica of the Tyrannosaurus rex, made of steel and fiberglass. Standing at a height of 25 meters (82.02 feet) and boasting a length of 46 meters (151 feet), this statue is four times the size of an actual Tyrannosaurus rex. Visitors can climb up 106 stairs to reach to the top. The wide open mouth of this female rex can accommodate approximately 12 people at a time.
Midland Provincial Park is a provincial park that is popular owing to the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology. Apart from that, it also offers hiking and wildlife viewing.
