Atlanta City Hall
Mo to Fr from 08:15 AM to 05:00 PMConstructed by architect G. Lloyd Preacher in 1930, this hulk of a building serves as Atlanta's seat of civic operations. Standing 11 stories tall with dramatic Gothic-arched entryways, the building is surfaced with cream colored terracotta tiles, contrasted by green terracotta in vertical tiers above the windows. The balustrade and main entrance are constructed of locally-mined white Georgia marble, and provide a stunning facade on the Mitchell Street side.
