    »Absolutely! (Perhaps)

    October 30, 2014 8:00 PM

Pirandello's comedy classic sparkles in a "Mad Men"-era Italian village where scandal is on the tip of everyone's tongue. A wildfire of gossip and speculation breaks out when Signor Ponza and his wife move to town and take up residence in a separate house from his mother-in-law. With no regard for privacy, the community of this Italian village decides they must get the inside scoop. What these snoops discover sends them spinning: tales of love-induced trips to the madhouse, secret letters delivered by a bucket on a rope and pulley and even a case of mistaken identity that's been bottled up for years. All is eventually revealed in this hilarious English-language adaptation of Luigi Pirandello's first play, "Così è (Se Vi Pare)".
