Governors Stadium seats 10,000 people and is the resident of the Austin Peay State University Governors. The stadium was originally called the Municipal Stadium and was owned by the City of Nashville and was rented out to Austin Peay State University for the amount it would cost the city. The University eventually purchased Governors Stadium in 1993.

The massive center houses within it an indoor track, batting cage, multipurpose practice and rehabilitation facilities, athletics department and locker rooms for the athletics.
