A must for Civil War enthusiasts, this museum displays a major collection of uniforms, weapons, artifacts, and soldier's personal effects and is widely recognized and acclaimed for its extensive collection of period clothing from the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Visit this historical place which tells the stories about the lifestyle of people during the period of Great Depression and World War 2. The history of McRitchie-Hollis can be traced back to 1939, when it was built. This house features the original furniture from that period and are a result of generous donations by Edgar Hollis.
Serving as the headquarters for cultural activity in the area, this center is housed in a lovely 19th century home with Greek architecture and features an art gallery which hosts monthly exhibits. The center also features a small sales gallery which carries arts and crafts by Georgia artists and classes in visual, performing, and literary arts are available.
