Hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee, the Dirty Guv'nahs play old-fashioned rock and roll influenced by its southern roots. With a lineup of six musicians, the band creates a robust sound filled with raw guitar, smooth Hammond organ, shredding lead guitar solos and bluesy piano. Topped off with tight rhythms and harmonies, Dirty Guv'nahs' sound is created with mature songwriting talent but packed full of youthful energy. The band's self-titled debut album was released in 2009.

Texas-based band Whiskey Myers is a country rock outfit that was formed in 2008. With Southern rock and roll edge, the band earned a quick local following and a contract with Smith Entertainment before the release of its 2008 debut album, Road of Life. Whiskey Myers expanded its reach to other parts of the US with an extensive touring schedule as well as its follow-up record Firewater, which was released with Wiggy Thump Records in 2011.

Maze is a soul and quiet storm band that came to be in San Francisco in the late 1970s. The band’s popularity on the music scene heightened when it was introduced to legendary artist Marvin Gaye. Gaye took Maze on tour with him and played a large part in the band signing with Capitol Records in 1976. The band has since established an undeniable presence in the African American music arena.

Hailing from Austin, Texas, the Bright Light Social Hour is a band that creates unique and fairly joyous music. After meeting at university, the four members of the band came together with a common love for creating rock music which draws comparisons to several groups from the musical glory days of yesteryear (read: the 60s). Melding psychedelia with funk and soul, the Bright Light Social Hour's concert experiences are exciting and one-of-a-kind because the group tends to incorporate some improvisitional playing whilst on stage. The band released its self-titled debut album in 2011.

John Martin Stuart goes by his nickname Marty Stuart and is widely known for his blend of classic country and rockabilly music. Born in Philadelphia, Stuart developed a taste for country music that prompted him to teach himself how to play the guitar and mandolin. Before he was even a teenager, he was performing with the bluegrass band The Sullivans. After meeting Lester Flatt guitarist Roland White, Stuart was invited to be a permanent part of the band and played with it broke up in 1978. Stuart moved on to work with fiddler Vassar Clements, guitarist Doc Watson and perhaps most notably, he joined Johnny Cash's back up band in 1980. His initial solo albums With a Little Help From My Friends and Busy Bee Cafe, respectively from 1979 and 1982, were created strictly out of a bluegrass lens and never saw commercial success. Stuart left Johnny Cash's band in 1985 to seriously pursue a solo career. Signed to MCA Records, he released his first acclaimed album in 1989 titled Hillbilly Rock, which earned him praise for incorporating rockabilly with southern honky tonk sounds. Over the next two decades, Stuart recorded 14 studio albums, published photos and articles covering the country music scene, received his own country music television show and served on the board of the Country Music Foundation, submerging himself in everything country and solidifying his name as one of the most versatile musicians in the genre.

Led by New Orleans-born funk vocalist and percussionist Cyril Neville of The Meters and Texas-born blues-rock guitarist Devon Allman of The Honeytribe and The Allman Brothers Band, Royal Southern Brotherhood had an audience well before it formed in 2011. The band's all-star lineup, which also includes guitarist and vocalist Mike Zito, combines its chosen sounds to create a brand of southern rock that justifies its gaudy name. Royal Southern Brotherhood uses elements of rock and roll, soul, R&B and of course funk and blues to create its seasoned southern sound.

U.S.-based Led Zeppelin cover band Zoso is no doubt one, if not the only Zeppelin cover band dominating venues across the country. The group performs dozens of times through out the year, bringing the legendary English band's most well-known songs to Zeppelin's die-hard fan base. In addition to a masterful display of Zeppelin's music, the group completed the ensemble with picture-perfect outfits and hair.
