This philharmonic orchestra is the oldest symphony orchestra west of the Mississippi. They present six performances and several special concerts each year.

The Butler-Hancock Sports Pavilion, located at the University of Northern Colorado, was built in 1974. Home turf to the University of Northern Colorado Bears basketball teams, the stadium is also used as a track and field venue and as a volleyball facility. The stadium was named after resident coaches Pete Butler and John Hancock. The pavilion has the capacity to hold approximately 4,000 spectators. For more information do contact the venue.
The University of Northern Colorado offers a range of facilities for recreational and fitness purposes for its students, and one of them is the Nottingham Field. The freshly-mowed lawn and the pristine green color is a welcome and necessary change for the students. The field also provides the students, and the residents of the city, with some exciting sporting action as it is the venue for various football, track and field events. The St. Michael's Event Center is located on the St. Michael's town square in west Greeley. This spacious venue is a confluence of early 20th Century landscaping and architecture and modern technology. The charming bell tower, sprinkled with exquisite lamp posts, and the lush greenery would make one think they had stepped into a grand mansion. The venue has two rooms, the Top room and the Depot room; which can together accommodate about 325 people, plus an amphitheater with a capacity of 400, and also an outdoor pool, which mostly used for private parties. Formerly used as the headquarters for the 157th Infantry of Colorado National Guard, The Armory at Brighton Cultural Center, today is a center for performing arts in Brighton. This small and intimate theater is used for hosting concerts, dance shows, theater productions and many cultural events throughout the year. The main auditorium has a maximum seating capacity for 300 spectators, and it is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and light technology.
The Brighton Pavilions cineplex recently changed hands from Kerasotes to AMC. There are 12 screens for your viewing pleasure, showing all the latest Hollywood blockbusters. The Adam County Fairgrounds is the venue for a number of large events throughout the year, most notably the Adams County Fair each July.
Home of the Arapahoe County Fair, the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds & Regional Park is located in the Colorado city of Aurora, about 22 miles (35.5 kilometers) from Denver.
