The Art Studio, Inc. was founded by artists for fellow artists in 1983. Their aim is to promote art and culture in Southeast Texas. It is a platform for upcoming talents where a studio and equipments are provided at an affordable rate. Their works are regularly exhibited, making it an interesting stop for art lovers. They also hold educational programs in the community and host band nights monthly.
This is the cultural events center and the home of the Beaumont Symphony Orchestra, the Beaumont Civic Ballet, the Beaumont Ballet Theater, and the Capital One Broadway Series along with many more attractions.
The Julia Rogers Theater is home to the Symphony of Southeast Texas, the Beaumont Civic Opera, the Beaumont Civic Ballet and the Beaumont Ballet Theater. The theater, which opened in 1982, is designed to host any event such as concerts, theatrical productions, dance presentations, lectures and large conference meetings. The stage boasts a magnificent fifty-foot proscenium, a hydraulic orchestra pit, and a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system. Diamond chandeliers decorate the ceilings of the theater's lobby where guests can enjoy intermissions at the cocktail bar and lounge area.
Opened for the first time in 1982, the Julie Rogers Theatre in Beaumont has been entertaining patrons for nearly 3 decades now, and a refurbishment in 2007 has made this 1663-seater venue even bigger and better than before. Superbly equipped with dimmers, portable monitors, transformers and great acoustics, a visit to Julie Rogers promises to be an eventful experience.
The legendary country singer George Jones began his career at this theater that features an array of entertainment including performances by local talent, comedians and national touring acts.
Pure Vibes is located inside the bohemian Balimports, a globally-inspired furniture and home decor store. This warehouse space is equipped with good acoustics and lighting, and has a laidback atmosphere. From indie to hip hop and heavy rock, you will find a range of performances here.
