Located in Fitzwilliam is the Rhododendron State Park that is spread over the Little Monadnock Mountain covering an area of approximately 2723 acres (1101.96 hectares). Out of this vast land, the park is replete with Rhododendron maximum, the native blooms that are enlisted as a National Natural Landmark. Apart from the rhododendron, there are cranberries, wintergreen, heathers and many other shrubs that are at full bloom in mid-July.
