»Bluestone National Scenic River

Created in the year 1988, this site is a 10.5-mile (16-kilometer) stretch of the Bluestone River in West Virginia which is under a protected area called the Bluestone National Scenic River. The trail offers outstandingly-beautiful views and scenic pleasure. The place is not entirely accessible by road and would be challenging to reach. Entry is either through the Bluestone State Park at the downstream end or rides on the aerial tram at the upstream end. Hiking, fishing and hunting are major activities you can do here, along with seasonal kayaking facilities.
