Trampled Under Foot is a blues rock band from Kansas City, Missouri that's composed of siblings Danielle, Nick and Chris Schnebelen. The three-piece outfit released its debut EP,The Philadelphia Sessions, in 2007, featuring all of its members on vocals with Danielle at the helm. The record helped the band capture local acclaim, and by the time Tramped Under Foot dropped its first full-length effort, May I Be Excused, in 2008, the band had earned international attention. With a dedicated following overseas, particularly in the UK, the band continues to release music together, including its 2011 studio album, Wrong Side of the Blues.
The heavy metal band Slipknot wears masks when they perform, because, according to them, it helps draw attention from the themselves and focus it on the music. Whether this works or not, the whole mask thing has served as somewhat of a shtick or gimmick for the band and has attracted thousands of eager listeners. The group is widely considered to be one of the more prominent metal bands on the scene and with cast of eight musicians - including two percussionists, in addition to a standard kit drummer - compromising the band, it's no wonder why the group is so successful.
