Allen Street Grill, in downtown State College offers a wide range of all-American fare, including contemporary as well as traditional preparations. The menu is lined with many meat, poultry and seafood dishes apart the usual salads and sandwiches. Dishes like Santa Fe chili bowl, Maryland crab bisque, fried calamari and tomato bruschetta, to name a few, keep the patrons coming back for more. There's an impressive drink list here as well, featuring some fabulous brews, cocktails and wines, that go exceedingly well with the meals here. The service is nice and friendly while the prices are quite fair. All in all, The Allen Street Grill, with its cute patio arrangement, overlooking the of College and Allen Streets, makes for a great dining spot.
