»Michigan's Own Military & Space Museum

Located on the Weiss Street in Frankenmuth is Michigan's Own Military & Space Museum. Dedicated to Michigan's soldiers, sailors and other war heroes who served in foreign wars of the United States, this unique museum was established in 1980. Housing more than 400 exhibits, each that tells a story about a soldier, sailor or an aviator, the museum is a tribute to all the sacrifices made in the service of a nation. It also aims to encourage people to support the Armed Forces and the families thus associated. Although a little different from most attractions in Frankenmuth, it makes for an interesting visit.
