    »Boo At The Zoo

    October 31, 2014 6:00 PM

The Little Rock Zoo offers a safe and fun Halloween alternative, with thousands of Halloween lights, carnival rides, the Boo Express Haunted Train and the Haunted Lion House. Bring the little goblins for a fun day of trick or treating coupled with the usual zoo activities (i.e. trying to stare down the monkeys). However, you may not see much, considering the event takes place at night for a ghoulish effect.

    »Once

    October 31, 2014 8:00 PM

Adapted for the stage from the 2006 film of the same name, Once is a musical that follows the story of a street busker who falls in love with an unattainable woman. Often described as somewhat of an "anti-musical," the show features song performances without the standard Broadway elements of elaborate set designs, ornate costumes or general pageantry. Instead, the characters, who remain unnamed throughout the production, sing their songs in a raw manner as the woman helps the man realize his dreams of becoming an established musician and moving to New York. After premiering on Broadway 2011, Once quickly won the accolades of critics and patrons alike, locking down a total of eight Tony Awards in 2012.

    »Eric Church

    October 31, 2014 7:00 PM

North Carolina-born, Nashville-based singer Erich Church is one of country music's most revered figures. Charting multiple hit singles through the early 2000s, Church had a number one album with 2011's Chief. The album's success brought Church an Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Solo Vocalist. Church's music draws on many of country music's favorite tropes, including drinking, love and a blue collar lifestyle.

    »Manchester Orchestra

    October 31, 2014 7:00 PM

Its the classic emo story: kid hates the high school he attends, the people he spends time in class with are so narrow minded and one sided that it makes this youth hunker down in his house during his senior year and complete his studies there. Channeling this displeasure with society and angst into music, this young whippersnapper managed to find a few other loners who were keen on the idea of starting a post hardcore emo band. The group was eventually dubbed Manchester Orchestra and has gone on to be favorite band of other isolationists around world.
