Southeast to the Bowling Green vicinity of the U.S. State of Florida, sites the Paynes Creek Historic State Park. The enormously wide State Park occupies immense monumental significance. The park was built and opened in the year 1849. It is an elegant site that encompasses a land cover of 400 acres (161.9 hectares). The park is a marvelous recreational avenue and provides for an array of activities. It is a magnificent site to indulge into fishing, canoeing, kayaking as well as bird and butterfly watching. The site has paved itself to the National Register of Historic Places in the year 1978.
