Pianist George Winston was born in Michigan and grew up in Miles City, Montana where he was inspired by blues, rock and jazz to learn how to play the organ. After hearing recordings of 1920s and 1930s stride pianists, he switched to acoustic piano in 1971 and focused on learning stride piano and folk piano. Only a year after he made the switch, Winston released his first solo piano album, Ballads and Blues, in 1972. Winston is well known for his charity work, including his 2001 album Remembrance- A Memorial Benefit, which benefited the people affected by the September 11 terrorist attacks, and Gulf Coast Blues & Impressions- A Hurricane Relief Benefit from 2006. With over ten solo albums under his belt, Winston continues to study the art of piano as well as guitar, continuously recording original compositions and covers of his favorite musicians.

John Gorka is a folk singer/songwriter from Edison, New Jersey who was named by Rolling Stone magazine in 1991 as "the preeminent male singer-songwriter of what has been dubbed the New Folk Movement." Since debuting and taking first place at the Kerrville Folk Festival in 1984, he has since toured with several of the most renowned solo acts in contemporary American folk. In addition to being extremely popular in folk circles throughout the US, John Gorka has also toured the Netherlands and Ireland, where he also commands an extensive following.

Kip Moore is a country singer/songwriter from the rural town of Tifton, Georgia, who first started playing music after purchasing a guitar while attending Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama. After graduating, Moore moved to Hawaii where he honed his songwriting approach, in addition to pursuing actives like surfing and backpacking. Upon returning to the mainland, Moore opted to pursue a career as a musician, moving to Nashville, where he spent four years gigging before landing a recording contract. Those years, worked to Moore's advantage, serving as a incubator of sorts and honing his approach, helping make his debut album, 2012's Up All Night, a well rounded artistic piece that was well received both critically and commercially.

Chanticleer is a classical vocal ensemble from San Francisco that has earned an international reputation for itself over the decades as one of the strongest vocal ensembles in the world performing music from the European Renaissance. Founded in 1978 by tenor Louis Botto, Chanticleer grew to become an iconic San Francisco vocal ensemble that did much to raise awareness of Renaissance music and music for mixed voices in general. Having since toured the nation and the world to much acclaim and success, Chanticleer will always be considered to be one of the greatest musical ensembles produced by the Bay Area in quite some time.
