Ashland Mountain Adventures has got your adventure essentials covered. This facility, run by Bill and Sue Roussel, offers you the best that the Siskiyou Mountains have to offer. From shuttle services and bike rentals, to trail maps and route recommendations, they are your go-to guide. Select from trails like the Hitt Road Trail and Tooth Pick Trail for beginners, Time Warp and Cat Walk Trail for experts, and every skill level in between. Hikers and bikers can avail their protective gear and equipment, and passenger shuttles that drop you off at your respective check point. In winter, they cater to skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.
200 acres (80.93 hectares) of wintertime fun awaits you at Mt. Ashland. This ski area features more than 20 trails, that will suit diverse skill levels. Ski lessons are offered for those interested. Choose the Twilight Skiing lesson and let the beautiful setting sun form your backdrop as you ski. Lodges, restaurants and shops are located in the area, making this place an ideal winter vacation spot for friends and families. In spring and summer, when the whites turn to greens, this ski area becomes a wonderful place to host a private celebration or a corporate meeting.
The Dead Indian Soda Springs are nothing but mineral springs along the Dead Indian Creek. It also has Dead Indian Soda Springs Shelter that features ovens and group tables. This shelter was incorporated in the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
