»Grampians Estate Great Western Wine Centre

The Grampians are an ancient mountain range, rich in Aboriginal and geological history. Here you will find one of the state's most beautiful national parks and a wine region steeped in history. Born in Victoria's gold rush era in the 1850's, the district specializes in fabulous sparkling wine, as well as highly regarded table wines. Grampians Estate Great Western Wine Centre produces traditional Sparkling Pinot, Grenache, Riesling, Shiraz and Sparkling Burgundy. The sparkling red is outstanding. Barbeque facilities and a picnic area are available for the use of visitors. The vineyard was previously known as Garden Gully Cellar Door and Vineyard, but was taken over by the Grampians Estate Wines.

Brilliantly located to take advantage of ideal climate and soils for superb wine production, the original vines were planted here over 140 years ago, with existing vines being over 40 years old.
