Located down south in the state of Alabama, Slocomb is a small city, popular for its tomatoes. The city takes its name from the Slocomb Lumber Company started by Frank Slocomb, who had settled in this region with his family. With the evolution of railroads, Slocomb developed into a town as it served as the main connecting stop between Atlanta, Georgia and Mobile. Tomatoes being the highlight feature, there happens an annual Tomato festival in the month of June which is among the biggest events in the region. Slocomb's proximity to Dothan and other places of adventure activities, makes it a favorable tourist destination.
With a new terminal completed in 2004, the 110,000 square foot terminal has all the comforts of a modern terminal. The airline currently provides direct service to eight cities, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Houston, Memphis and Tampa. Built in 1857, the Moss Hill United Methodist Church is one of the city's oldest structures. It is said to be a sanctuary of prayer and worship for many young men during the Civil War. The construction of this church was made from the center of a pine wood tree and it remains beautifully restored. It features on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Hillcrest Baptist Church of Pensacola is an Evangelical church and believes in the Christian aspects of the Trinity, hell and heaven.
