    »Hicksville Gregory Museum

Thanks to the laborious, extensive and painstaking collecting of Dr. Gardiner E. Gregory, this museum came into being in 1963. Dr. Gregory was fascinated with rocks, butterflies and local archaeological finds; all these and more have been accumulated and can be found in the Heitz Place Courthouse. There is a beautiful collection of minerals, dinosaur bones and remains (including a triceratops horn!) and countless other items of wonder. The museum also runs education programs on earth science for students.
