The Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford, popularly known as “The Big M,” is a famous spot for horse-racing. It has been a witness to this sport since 1976. Pier 94 is a huge venue with 175,000 square feet of space nestled in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. This place was a former freight pier in the 1950's and is virtually column-less. Formerly known as Jean Cocteau Repertory, The Exchange brings a new name, a new artistic staff and a new mission to a theater that desperately needed to be revamped. The Exchange is a production company dedicated to exactly what its name says, finding ways to engage both audience and artists. JBL Live at Pier 97 is a collaboration between Live Nation, Harman International and Hudson River Park. The result is a wonderful waterfront, outdoor music venue. Equipped with top-notch sound systems, this seasonal spot hosts great shows by well known musicians and bands.
Located on the second floor of the Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew, the West End Theatre is an intimate venue. This unique performance space is part of a congregational artistic outreach program and home to David Parker & The Bang Group, the Prospect Theater Company, the Pan Asian Repertory, and the Six Figures Theater Company. McGinn Cazale is a not for profit, 99 seat theater housing the Vital Theater Company and a children's theater too. The season includes three to five plays.
